"Ghost" is a glitter-streaked echo of 1999—a rave girl frozen in time, her Y2K glow still pulsing under layers of spectral static. Clad in star clips and a choker that never loosens, she’s a vaporwave requiem: equal parts nostalgia and haunting. The tragedy isn’t that she died, but that she’ll never hear the beat drop again.

Her edges blur like a worn-out VHS tape, all purple and bio hazard green, while her hollow expression flickers between innocence and something sharper. Was she a runaway? A club kid who partied too hard? Or just a ghost who misses her Tamagotchi? The contrast of Lisa Frank brightness against her eerie transparency makes her feel like a secret—something sweet left to rot under a strobe light.

This piece continues my love affair with "Monster girls"—those who slip through the cracks of time, dressed in the aesthetics of their undoing. Because sometimes the most haunting things come in sequins.
